| With advances in computer science, three-dimensional (3D) technology has got a rapid development. It has been widely used in science, engineering, medicine and other fields. In modern informationalized warfare, correct assessment to battlefield situation is the basic for command and decision, thus affecting the outcome of a war. At the same time the continuous updating of naval equipment and the application of cutting-edge science and technology promote changes in modern naval combat missions, such it would,in effect, transform the modern naval warfare from being between the platforms and the platforms in the past into now being between the system and the system, including air, surface, underwater and land allbranches of the military. With the increase of resources in the battlefield, the environment of modern sea battlefield will become extremely complex, the traditional two-dimensional (2D) situation display can no longer express the complete and accurate battlefield information to commanders to provide decision-making.In response to this situation, this paper proposes a three-dimensional situation display based on the Object-oriented three-dimensional engine. This paper first gives an overview of three-dimensional technology's development and present situation, analyses the meaning of apply three-dimensional technology. Then introduces the relevant three-dimensional technologies used in the three-dimensional situation display such as grid modeling and three-dimensional projection. The three-dimensional situation is based on object-oriented open source graphics engine OGRE, this paper analyzes the structure and core OGRE objects, and related technical characteristics; At last,Input the 3D model into the the three-dimensional situation by 3D MAX. Two-dimensional technology is applied in the three-dimensional situation. The research of the axial bounding box (AABB) and the collision detection algorithm is used to achieve the target label non-overlapping display. And use the open source GUI library CEGUI in computer interaction. In the end the paper gives the runtime effects and test results. |
