| Hall, also known as brick house without beam, was prevalent in a particular period of the Ming and Qing architectural style, which is the wisdom of the Chinese working people, and its decorative arts, compared with the other architectural forms, are not only heritage, but also innovation. Long Chang Buddhist Temple in Baohua Mountain, as the first famous mountain, was favored by royal generations. To celebrate the Queen Mother's 70th birthday, in the 33rd year of the Ming Dynasty, Imperial Emperor Ming invested in the construction of the three permitted worshiped, separately used for Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri and Samantabhadra. It unprecedentedly adopted the architectural form beamless Hall building both in the left and in the right, whose decoration assembled the essence of variety of decorative arts at that time, and thus it plays an important role in the later study of Chinese ancient Buddist architecture, decorative arts and architectural culture. |
