Research On The Value Of Preventive Strengthening Of Arch Bridges

The preventive reinforcement of bridge is one kind of measures before the bridges'diseases formed by certain scale, and reduces the influence of transportation from the bridges'diseases. It is obvious that preventive reinforcement involve safety evaluation of bridges and economic results of bridges and economic influence of society.For the above questions, I use the reliability theory to make the safety evaluation around the preventive reinforcement, and forecasting the residual life of the bridges which had been reinforced, and analyzing the economic results of reinforcement at the same time. In the base of the above theory the essay, after combine the study of predecessors I contrasted with three different reinforcing strategies, and made a conclusion that the preventive reinforcement method has more advantages.This article mainly divided into six chapters :In the first chapter, it is introducing the research background of preventive reinforcement, and the main contents of the researching in this article.In the second chapter, it is introducing the diseases of arch bridges and methods of reinforcement.In the third chapter, the main researching is the calculation of Time-dependent and the forecasting of residual life.In the forth chapter, it is analyzing the economic results of reinforcement from cost, benefit and social cost, and discussing three different reinforcing strategies which depend on Time-dependent.In the fifth chapter, with project examples it is analyzing the security of the arch bridge before reinforced, charting the reliability indexes curve, forecasting the residual life of the bridges after reinforced, and contrasting with three different reinforcing strategies on this basis.In the last chapter, I made summaries for this article and outlooks for preventive reinforcement's future.
