| Railway locomotives are main productive assets of railway transport enterprises, and its operation cost is an important expenditure item for railway transport. The operational performance of locomotives is directly related with the operating costs and economic benefits of transport enterprises. Accelerating locomotive turnaround and improving the locomotive efficiency is always regarded as an important content of the railway transport development strategy.Aiming at the current use and management modes that railway locomotive system to the locomotives, the thesis analyzes quantitatively and qualitatively the factors that impact the locomotive turnaround by the system concepts and methods, optimization theory, system engineering and other related theories based on theoretical research and full reference for previous experience and achievements. At the same time, it considered some factors, such as that impact locomotive turnaround time, locomotive working system, locomotive routing, locomotive crew, etc. and found the effective ways and methods to accelerate locomotive turnaround speed and improve the efficiency of locomotives.The thesis mainly studied the following five aspects:1. Introducing the basic concepts and calculation formulas of locomotive turnaround time. Concluding and analyzing the factors affecting the locomotive turnaround time, and then establishing its interpretative structural model.2. Introducing the locomotive working systems in China. Using qualitative and quantitative methods to compare and analyze different kinds of locomotive working systems, and then pushing forward problems that should be solved to implement the circle working system.3. Aiming at the shoulder-circle working system that most widely used in China, comparing the length of locomotive turnaround time between fixed and unfixed traction modes firstly. Secondly, designing a simple algorithm to solve locomotive turnaround scheme of unpaired train diagram. At last, establishing a network model to get the best locomotive turnaround scheme in the condition of unfixed traction of unpaired train diagram; also giving the text examples.4. Describing the locomotive routing, crew system and steward shifts in detail. Briefly analyzing the problems that existed in the approach to confirm extended routing of traditional mode. Discussing the extended routing, steward shifts of the crew in the pooled system and reasonable length of the locomotive routing. Finally, putting forward problems that should be solved to implement extended routing.5. Analyzing the drawbacks of the traditional use and management mode of locomotive; and putting forward the strategy ways and specific measures to accelerate locomotive turnaround. |
