Study On Express Highway Engineering Cost And Index

The construction of highways in our country, especially the express highway engineering construction has achieved considerable development since reform and opening up. The construction scale and investments are increasing gradually. The express highway construction projects have become the focus of the whole national economic development's attention for its inherent characteristic-huge amounts of investment. Under this environment, rapid development of the highway construction has taken place in Henan Province, and traffic mileage of Henan leapt to the top of the whole country. But at the same time, there are still many issues, such as "three outstrip",the index of estimation being too old and vast amount of engineering cost data being not systematically digested and used. In order to solve the problems fundamentally, ensure the influences of all the factors of express highway project cost and give effective opinions on the express highway cost management, this thesis presents a deep and intense study on the construction and prediction of the cost and index system of the express highway engineering cost and the breakthrough and innovation have been had in these aspects mentioned above by using construction economics,statistics,system theory and relative theories and basic principles comprehensively.The study of this thesis contains four parts.(1) Combining the existing problems in Henan express highway engineering cost management, the entry point of this thesis, the systematic research methods and guideline have been determined by analyzing and summarizing the present relative research conditions of the engineering cost management.(2) Introducing the cost composition of express highway project and deciding the research objects have been done in this part. According to the regional characteristics of Henan Province, eighteen express highway projects which have been collected is processed by zone subdivision, the thesis also summarizes the overall characteristics and the engineering final share of the express highway projects in each region by gathering and summarizing the costs data of the eighteen highway projects.(3) The contents and the calculation approach of the engineering cost index have been studied. In this part, quantity index and costs index in different regions in Henan Province have been obtained and also compared between different regions. Vertical analysis and sensitivity factor analysis of the engineering cost have been taken, and volatile elements in each stage and sensitivity factors that affecting the engineering final cost also have been found out.(4) Express highway engineering cost index system is constructed on the basis of the express highway engineering cost system and index formation model also have been analyzed and constructed.(5) According to the express highway engineering cost index,index and relative analysis results, directive views and suggestions that suiting for the express highway engineering cost management in Henan Province have been given. And this thesis have also provided reliable reference of the effective express highway engineering cost management for examination and approval decision department,cost management departments and construction management unit.
