Large amounts of researchers focus on the bridge structure, and neglect pavements and durability analysis. And destroys of pavements would lead to the increase of economic losses and bridge safety issues. So the article would discuss the analysis of pavements and its durability. The writer summarized the influences which would lead to the weak of durability, investigating the type, structure, usage and research of pavements, and considering the survey from Chang'an Unviersity.then the writer made analysis of pavements by numerical simulation.1 The writer made analysis of rigid pavements. In order to discussed the influence from thickness (from 2cm-14cm), the writer used solid plate, hollow plate, T-shaped beam, box girder bridges to establish model. And all of the models, property of materials, and load are based on the property of Jialuhe Bridge and Shibalihe Bridge. And reached by increasing the thickness of pavement can reduce the stress of pavement.2 The writer made analysis of water layer. The writer discussed the changes of stress by changing the pavements' thickness, stiffness, and water layer's thickness. Come to the conclusion,it's reasonable increasing the pavement thickness and stiffness of the waterproof layer can reduce stress.3 The writer made analysis of flexible pavement layer. The article discusses the changes of stress and strain by changing the up and down pavements' thickness. Come to the conclusion, changing the thickness of pavement layer can not reduce the stress and strain of pavement. In addition, the writer discussed how to enforce the durability by proper design, rational construction, and the properties of material. The writer proved that adding polypropylene fiber in concrete would increase the durability of pavement, by freeze-thaw cycles.
