Research On The Rule Of Passenger Arriving At Railway Passenger Station

The rule of passenger arriving is about probability distribution of passengers'waiting time. Passengers'waiting time is not easy to collect, it has close relationship with the city's traffic, climate condition, train dispatching moment, train dispatching logarithmic and its balance of running, it is also connected with passengers'time, way and distance of traveling. The rule of passenger arriving determines the maximum assembling of waiting room, it has direct effect on the area, quantity, optimized use of waiting room and the train plan, and it is an important factor which should be considered when a station will be built or rebuilt. Therefore, the research for rule of passenger arriving has both theoretical meaning and use value.This paper was written through on-the-spot investigation from Chengdu North railway station, the author collected more than 30,000 group basic datas, and each data was divided into five forms which were ordinary train, fast train, express train and mu train (Chengdu-Qingchengshan, Chengdu-Chongqing), those datas were input in a database. Based on the analysis of the basic datas, the probability distribution of passengers'waiting time, the maximum assembling of waiting room, the area, quantity and mathematical model for optimized use of waiting room, the influence which the rule of passenger arriving has on train plan are determined.Finally, combined the calculation method and mathematical model with Chengdu North railway station, this paper studies and analysises that the maximum assembling, the area and quantity of waiting room under the condition of present train plan, estimates the present use plan of waiting room and optimizes it. Combined with the status quo of Chengdu North railway station, it shows that the study of the calculation method and mathematical model has certain feasibility and practicability, and it also has certain reference value for the design of passenger station.
