| Recently, in project contracting fields, there exist many problems of deficient coordination among detecting, engineering, procuring, and constructing parts, which leads to consistent allocations and poor efficiencies lying in management of quality, safety, scheduling, etc. Accordingly, the total contracting model of EPC comes to life, and afterwards receiving its prevalence in developed countries. In this contracting model, the owner can stimulate related parts to the most degree, and thus, these parts can have much more flexibility, which can improve the implementation on project scheduling. Furthermore, this model can relief the investors from excessive work. In China, the governments are active to popularize the total contracting model of EPC, so, the analysis of this paper has theoretical and realistic meanings.main work of this paper includes:1. The present situations of different contracting model are briefly analyzed. And the backgrounds, strength, and weakness are introduced. In addition, the profiles of XX company and the YN airport are presented. Furthermore, the principles of how to choose the total contractor for this project are analyzed in detail;2. The investment estimation of the project of YN is showed, along with the measurements to investment controlling;3. Compared with the project scheduling, the actual tasks fulfillment is examined, using the methods of Gantt Chart comparison, what's more important, measures to resolve the lags existing in some task are given;4. Company XX succeeds in coordinating all the parts, with the help of informational management system, this paper gives introduction about this.5. Last but not least, assessment on the revenue obtained by XX company is figured out; equipped with the experiences derived from this project, this paper makes some prospective for EPC. |
