The Study And Design Of The Control And Simulation System Of Highway Tunnel Lighting

Nowadays,With the rapid economic development of our country, the increasing highway traffic mileage, and the number of highway tunnels, the existing design technique of lighting system can not meet the needs of actual demand. Thus, the study of control and simulation system designed in the paper can not only shorten the development circle, but also can use advanced computer technology to simulate the design.According to the characteristics of tunnel lighting and the main factors which affect the quality of tunnel lighting, and with the design specification of highway tunnel lighting system, the paper first determines the general framework of tunnel lighting control and simulation system.,and then discusses the advantages and the design features of using PLC as the Field Control Unit. On the basis of discussing tunnel lighting strategies, adopting advanced computer technology, the paper designs the control and simulation system which based on Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition software.The main research context includes the selection method of software platform, the communication technology between PLC and software, the control modes such as manual control mode, timing control mode, automatic control mode, and the functional module of selected control mode. It also contains project generated system and report forms generated system. According to the parameter of the tunnel which includes tunnel length and towards of the tunnel entrance, the system can generate a effective lighting solution and basic control strategies.Finally, with the example of a parameter-known tunnel, the paper makes an evaluation to the project generated system. The evaluation report indicates that the project generated system can generates an appropriate lighting project and control strategies,and the simulation module can simulate and evaluate the alternative project, reduce the development circle and design cost.
