With the rapid development of highway tunnel construction in our country, the energy consumption of lighting generated by the tunnel operation increases rapidly, which has brought a huge economic burden to the operating unit. At present, the domestic traditional highway tunnel lighting control system usually has some insufficients, such as the single lamp control modes and the poor adjustability of them, which result in the failure to achieve the on-demand lighting, causing a large amount of energy waste and negative effects to the comfort and safety of driving in tunnel.A kind of highway tunnel lighting control network based on the technology of wireless communication is designed, compared with the existing tunnel lighting control mode, which uses control circuits of lamps to adjust the lighting brightness. The control network uses LED lamps as light source, equiped with wireless communication module, and supports a wide range of dimming, which realizes fully independent dimming control of the tunnel. Based on the improved design of lighting control network, combining with the current domestic design standard of tunnel lighting and CIE standard, a lighting subdivision method for each section of the tunnel is proposed, which can be used to control the group of lamps flexibly, and improve the uniformity of the tunnel lighting. Based on the ternary parameters of the luminance outside the tunnel, traffic volume and average speed, a kind of dimming control algorithm for the lamp grouping is proposed in this paper. According to the requirement of the change curve of the ternary parameters, the illumination intensity value of each lamp group in the tunnel is calculated, which achieves the on-demand lightingUsing the lamp control network as the system architecture and the lamp subdivision control algorithm as the core, a software for highway tunnel wireless lighting control system is developed by.Net, combining MySQL database, which realizes the function module of user management, single lamp control, lamp group control, state query and state alarm. The effects of system testing and engineering application show that the control system, compared with current tunnel lighting control system, can achieve the energy saving of 24.3%, and has a high degree of illumination uniformity. There is some reference value of theory and engineering application for highway tunnel energy-saving operation.
