| As a kind of culture landscape, Qiang traditional village settlement reflects the folk culture of Qiang to adapt to the living environment. Qiang traditional village with complete settlement pattern system and construction system, and organic symbiosis with the environment, has its own landscape symbol system. This symbol is the long-term carrier of cultural identity and an important condition of environment belonging and identity. Whether the folk culture can be reborned and renewed in the reconstruction project is the very point must be considered.The paper analyzed the Qiang village landscape symbols and settlement patterns with the theory of landscape semeiology, studied the profound connotations of Qiang traditional settlement culture, and expressed the folk culture via the design practice of the tourism and leisure block of new Beichuan. Rebuilding the places in people's memory to meet the needs of modern cities and people's new demands, and to achieve the symbiosis of tradition and modernity finally. |
