Research On The Automatic Chamfering Machine For Steel Pipe

Charmfering machine is the special equipment for pipe-end processing. Currently, the processing quality of the traditional machine still unable to satisfly the demands of the market, therefore, the research and development of new automatic charmfering meeting all actual requirement in the quality and capacity of the processing is imminent.This paper introduced the main seamless steel pipe manufacturing process, raised the significance of the pipe-end charmfering and its processing, elaborated the necessity of develeping expounded NC charmfering machine, raised the overall layout program based on the design requirements and parameters, identified the function ane structure of the major components, studied the proeessing error of the cutter and designed the floating cutter, analyzed the particularity of the pipe clamping and designed the clamping deviee.Studied the motion control of the system and raised the electrical control system program. Discussed the hardware configuration of 8O2D NC system and Siemens S7-300 PLC in the chamfering machine, studied the location detection device used in the maehine, designed the IPC control systems software,802D NC system chamfering application software and PLC control Procedures in light of the actual work requirements.The automatic machine for steel pipe has been applied, the machines can make good result for heavy wall pipe, the actual running show:Pipe charmfering stability, Charmfering quality, efficiency have been enhanced in the system.
