With the development of steel pipe production has increased year by year, the market to the precision requirements of steel pipe continue to increase, the need of steel pipe diameter and wall thickness increasing, which requires the steel pipe Milling-head Chamfering Machine can keep up with the current market demand. While the domestic steel pipe chamfering machine for steel pipe specifications processing rangeis relatively small, the processing precision is not high, as time goes on, this contradiction is increasing year by year. In the development of catch production needs the technological situation, is of great significance to new steel milling head chamfering machine is studied in this paper.The detailed design of the paper mainly the following aspects of the new automatic steel milling head chamfering machine: 1. The design of mechanical structure, new steel pipe milling-head chamfering machine is a improvement to the traditional flat head chamfering machine, joined the rotation system, flat head cutter and chamfering cutter in the rotation with the turntable, can rotation alone.Compared with the traditional flat head chamfering machine, the processing of steel pipe by turning processing into a milling processing, improves the surface quality of the steel pipe; range of equipment processing has been expanded; reduce the cutting force and cutting power. 2.The parameters of new steel pipe milling-head chamfering machine power system is calculated, including the processing range of steel pipe, the selection of milling and chamfering cutter, the flat-head and chamfering processing parameter, cutter spindle gear transmission calculation, calculation of cutter axial feed mechanism, cutter radial feed mechanism and the choice of cuter electromotor. 3.The modeling of the new steel pipe flat-head chamfering machine each part of mechanism, the static analysis and modal analysis of the machine with finite element software Ansys, which focuses on the cutter spindle parts. 4.The control part of new steel pipe flat-head chamfering machine is designed, feeding system adopt closed loop control system, analyzes the sources of interference in the whole process. 5.The contents of this paper are summarized, that the design of the new steel pipe flat-head chamfering machine can meet the existing processing requiremengts, points out the deficiency of this paper,and prospect the research direction in the future.
