The research for regional control of the spray deposition can resolve a problem which is a combination bottleneck of spray deposition technology and continuous extrusion technology. The combination of the the two technology will play an important role in the promoting of the tubes, rods, profiles, wire forming and preparation for high-alloy but low plasticity materials.In the course of the study, nozzles, tubes and regional controller was self-designed. With different types of nozzles and tubes, the experimental research is made in the free state. The three regional control.programs those are air knife,baffles and regional contr-oller was researched. Experiments show that the controller is only feasible program. Th-rough the contrast and analysis of the area size and relative density of the spray depos-ition under the condition of regional controller, we get the regular effect of the various parameters.As follows:1.The atomizer has an obvious effect on the range and quality of spray deposition. Accumulation point nozzle (the size of aperture:lmm×lmm,32 holes,the distance between plane of spray nozzles and accumulation point is 43mm) is more appropriate for the the requirements of this experiment.2.Under the air knife program, the experiment results are far away from the objectives. It is due to the diffusivity of the air knife (when the distance of spray deposition is 300mm, the diffusion length is 60mm). so we denied the feasibilityof air knife program. Because baffle is easily blocked by the metal lead,it is not feasible.3.This article describes the six invention ideas of the regional controller. Selecting a simple alternative idea, the device of regional controller is designed and manufacture-d. The core of this program is the two regional control roll.under the action of the controller: atomization gas pressure, spraying distance and the speed of regional control roll has a great impact on the region of the deposition.atomization gas pressure,superh-eat, spraying distance, the length of highlight of the diversion pipe has a great impact on the quality of deposition.4.under the action of the regional controller, the relative density of the deposition that appears dense is up to 99%.Except the cast, the grain size of the rest spray deposition is 15~25μm. Under the condition of theⅢ-typenozzle,Ⅳ-type diversion pipe,0.4Mpa atomization gas pressure,0.3mm length of highlight of the diversion pipe,300mm spray deposition distance,150℃superheat,2500 R/min speed of regional control roll(without cooling water), the 15mm spraying deposition is prepared. It's relative density is up to 99% and the diameter of grain size is about 17μm. And thus, the cooling rate is about 105K/s.5.The organization of spray deposition has two significant features:grains were equiaxed and the grain size is relatively small. It has great relation with the spray forming process and the cooling rate.
