Art of display is concerned with people's daily life in the modern society. Not only the culture space but also the commercial space, excellent display design will bring high quality exhibition atmosphere and well economic, cultural effect. Modern display art is a product of modern society. The materials and processes, particularly the general creativity conception which the exhibition used is new. Those market and commercial street is incomparable.In the commercial display space, the exhibition industry is most representative. With the exhibition industry is rising, the number increased, scale constantly expanding, display means are renovated and the competition between exhibitors more and more fierce. At this moment, exhibitors let themselves outstanding was especially important in the dozens of competitors and limit time and space. In this way, they could build up brand and image to win target customers. In the fighting, our goal is to attract customers for communication and business negotiations, and let them have impression in their brains. In order to achieve this goal, we must rely on its exhibition booth to complete. Among this, except for the warm reception, meticulous and considerate services, the planning and design work must not be overlooked. Therefore, the design as an important information exchange and communication means, its core objectives are to spread the information quickly and efficiently. As the most important consciousness, visual played a leading role in the process of cognitive and dissemination exhibition message. Therefore, necessary to make a system study of efficiency of visually communication in display design.The paper as exhibition display design of a carrier, as visual messages communication efficiency of focus on. Based on analysis and summary of the background, purpose, meaning, domestic and abroad current researches of this topic, also combined display design, symbols, design art psychology and communication studies theory, this study analyzed and researched from those aspects as visual psychology and visual features. Reduction a formula of visual communication efficiency of display design:The actual harvest of audience/should be made to display effect×100%.From above exploring research and cross research between some subjects and exhibition display design attempt. For related issues to the attention and aware, to reflection more human and nature in design, wish to provide new creative thinking and reference value for the future display design.
