Suzhou Kesi weaving technology has a history of more than 2,000 years and is an important intangible cultural heritage of our country.In May 2006,it was selected into the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.Kesi has outstanding artistic aesthetic value and historical and cultural value,and is known as the "Sage of Weaving."In recent years,my country has vigorously promoted the integration of intangible cultural heritage with modern economy and technology,and created a route of "science and technology+ culture" and "creative+culture”,which has significantly increased the public's willingness to accept intangible cultural heritage.With the influence of the concept of "cultural consumption",Suzhou Kesi is also trying to integrate into the daily life of the public through visual communication.Based on the perspective of visual communication and referring to the "5W" communication structure in communication science,this research attempts to construct a visual communication system design method for Suzhou Kesi from the three aspects of visual content,audience,and visual media.It is an intangible cultural heritage of traditional skills.The visual communication research provides new ideas.First of all,the historical development,production technology and weaving technique of Suzhou Kesi,as well as the status quo of transmission are respectively summarized.Its historical development is mainly summarized into three stages:birth period,development and heyday,and decline period,which are described in terms of historical background,regional culture,and era characteristics.The production process and the weaving technique are discussed separately from the tools and raw materials,the process flow and the weaving technique,and the description of the process flow combines my Kesi practice experience.The communication status quo is based on market research and analyzed from two aspects of the communication status and dilemma of Suzhou Kesi*It is found that Suzhou Kesi has traditional patterns that restrict the aesthetics of communication,changes in the main body of communication,and the single content of communication.Secondly,this research believes that the visual communication process is similar to the "5W" model proposed by Laswell.Aiming at the research objects of Suzhou Kesi,the research focuses on visual communication content and audience analysis.Analyze the characteristics of Suzhou Kesi in the aspects of pattern,color,composition and material.Under the guidance of visual perception theory,analyze the vision of Suzhou Kesi from four parts:visual cognition,visual representation,visual rhetoric and visual aesthetics.Characteristics,and finally discuss the historical and cultural value,artistic aesthetic value and social economic value of Suzhou Kesi's visual communication.Then,on the basis of the research of the audience's psychological needs and behavior influencing factors,the research on the audience's cognition degree of Suzhou Kesi.Through questionnaire analysis to understand the public's awareness,style preference and dissemination willingness of Suzhou Kesi,and in-depth interviews on the acceptance psychology,communication channels,and cultural needs of Suzhou Kesi audiences,and summarize the audience characteristics,Provide support for the visual communication system design method.Finally,Suzhou Kesi's visual communication system approach is analyzed from three aspects:visual information,visual media and audience training.The visual information design method completes the design process of visual content from three aspects:design concept,visual performance and narrative content.The choice of visual media corresponds to the audience's entertainment,three-dimensional,and participation experience needs from three aspects:traditional media,new media,and integrated media.Audience training is based on the characteristics of the audience circle,guiding the hierarchical development of Kesi in the physical and virtual communication process,discussing how to break through the circle and promoting the flow of audiences between different circles,so as to realize the all-round spread of Kesi.
