The development of Numerical control equipment and technology are the keyfactor to measure the modernization of one nation’s equipment manufacturingindustry. At present, the field is facing the problem of the low numerical controlrate、the low utilization ratio of high-end CNC equipment and failing to getbreakthrough in some critical technology, which has greatly restricted the progress ofturning to the manufacturing industry powerful nation. On that basis, the thesis havedone research on the technology of post processing and NC Program’s compiling infive-axis linkage CNC machining based on the laboratory’s double turntable five axislinkage CNC machine tool of independent R&D, got the main achievements asfollows:(1) Researched on the post processing algorithm of five-axis machine tools basedon the theory of rigid transformation, deduced the coordinate calculation formula ofdouble turntable five axis machine tools. Develop the special post processor by thetools of TCL and UG/post, and verified the result by simulation software ofVERICUT and actual cutting on the machining center.(2) After analyzing causes and factors of nonlinear error in five-axis machining,the conclusion that the maximum nonlinear error was near the midpoint between theadjacent Cutter-Location points, researched on the control method of nonlinear errorby simplified model and point interpolation, and test its effectiveness by Simulatingthe tool path of impeller’s runner.(3) Designed the integral structure of Open CNC’s compiling module accordingto the Lex&Yacc approach in computer compilation theory, and realized the errordetection of morphology and grammar of NC program by Object-Oriented technology.Put forward a kind of translation method of NC program based on programmablemulti-axis motion controller, achieved the translation task of common G and M codein CNC system, and verified it by machining practically.This article has realized the acquisition and compiling of complex surface parts’NC program by researching on the post-processing and compiling technology infive-axis CNC machining. At the same time, put forward an effective method tocontrol the nonlinear error. The research has important practical significance and engineering application value to solve the problem in our nation’s equipmentmanufacturing industry and to improve the whole level of manufacture.
