Post Processing Of 5-Axis Machine Center Based On UG

With economy growing in our country, mechanical manufacturing will be more and more important. Digital manufacturing is one of the trends in the mechanical manufacturing industry. One important part of digital manufacturing is right manufacturing more complicated parts with NCMT (numerical control machine tool).The key of manufacturing part with NCMT is the program which should be able to run in machines. There are two methods of making programs. one is manual made, which can not be used for manufacturing complicated part; the other is making programs by computer and CAM software, which is widely used.Only the tool path can be got by CAM software in computer, so we have to create NC code by tool path running in machine to manufacture part.There are a variety of machines with different functions. But it is difficult to provide a widely used kind of NC code run in different-function machine created according to tool path, especially in 5-axis machine, complicated NC codes are required. So we have to make the special post process programs by the special requirement of machine.After the 5-axis DMU50V made by DECK MAHO in Germany was imported to a certain company, so far all the NC programs have been man-made, so not all the excellent functions could be used and the production power of the company has been limited. Now we can solve the problem easily by UG software. The task is as the following:(1)The post-process requirement is put forward after analyzing the characteristics of manufacturing center and the mechanism of worktable in 5-axis DMU50V.(2) The special post process suitable to the control characteristics of the machine will be made by UG software.(3) According to the requirment of a element of products .desige reasonable processing technics, weave procedures for processing and produce qualified element to verf the post.(4) Propose the direction of continous research...
