Construction Of Evaluation Index System And Evaluation Model Of Ecotourism Area In Sichuan Province

Rencently,the ecotourism has achieved great progress in our country,which has the potential of bringing the positive environment and social influence.But the implementation is improper,the ecotourism would be destructive as mass tourism.Although there are a quantity of ecotourism resources with complete types and distinct characteristic in Sichuan province,the problems of grasping the connotation and characteristics badly of ecotourism,lagging tourist area construction,extensive management and service,ecotourism generalizing are more and more obviously,which could cause serious harm to ecotourism development in Sichuan province.Establishing a evaluation standard of ecotourism which meeting the ecotourism development in Sichuan province could evaluate ecotourism area,guide ecotourism area construction from the theory and practice,regulate the management behavior of operators and consumption behavior of tourists,promote environmental protection and community development and realize the sustainable development of ecotourism.Research systematically summarizes the research progress of ecotourism and ecotourism evaluation,definites four connotation of ecotourism which include natural basis,contribution for protection,community benefit and environmental education, analyzes the characteristics and limitations of evaluation standards of ecotourism at home and aboard,and puts foward the developmental direction of domestic ecotourism evaluation which is formulating and implementing local ecotourism evaluation system.From the connotation of ecotourism and by tourism destination of Sichuan for evaluation objects,it puts seventy initial indexes. The index system uses the frame of "total goal layer- subgoal layer layer- criterion layer-index layer" and is constituted by 4 subgoal layers which are ecotourism resources,facility construction and management, environmental protection and education, community developmen.The subgoal layers also consist of 9 criterion layers,which are resource endowment,environmental quality,resource using condition,facility construction,management mechanism,environmental protection,environmental education,communityresidents,community participation,for a total of 43 indexes.Based on the evaluation index system of ecotourism area,it determines the index weight,and after the standardized treatment of evaluation indexes,it establishes the evaluation model of ecotourism area,and divides the evaluation grade of ecotourism area into four grades.The weight of ecotourism resources, facility construction and management, environmental protection and education, community developmen are respectively 0.4740,0.2362,0.1948,0.0950.Among them,the weight of ecotourism resources is the largest,which meets the connotation of ecotourism which is natural basis,and could encourage and protect the ecotourism aera which has high quality natural resources.The ecotourism area could be divided into four grades which include not ecotourism area,ecotourism area qualified grade,ecotourism area good grade and ecotourism area excellent grade.For a case study, the evaluation index system and evaluation model are used to assess the Jia Jinshan national forest park in Sichuan province,the evaluation score is 0.7422,belongs to ecotourism area qualified grade. The evaluation result meets the ecotourism development situation of Jia Jinshan national forest park,which gets the recognition of evaluation experts and operators,and explains the evaluation index system has good operation in practice.Aim at the main problems existing in the park,it put forward five suggestions,including:strengthen the protection and cultivation of ecotourism resources,strengthen the ecological construction of basic and service facilities,improve the scientization of daily management,improve the attention for environmental education and develop the environmental education,promote interaction between community and ecotourism aera.
