Yangquan City is located in the eastern part of Shanxi Province,is the largest nthracite producing origin in China. The extensive exploitation of coal resources for a long period of time has brought considerable economic benefits to the Yangquan area.At the same time,it has caused a series of geological environmental problems, and also has brought tremendous resistance to the development of this new industrial city and seriously affected the living environment of local residents. Therefore, finding out the current situation of geological environment in coal mining area of Yangquan City and carry out zoning evaluation can not only provides theoretical basis and guidance for the recovery and management of geological environment in the coal mining area of Yangquan City, but also helps Yangquan's simultaneous and sustainable development of ecological, economic and social benefits.Based on the statistical analysis of predecessors' research results and collected data, this paper summarizes the geological environmental problems and their main influencing factors in coal mining areas of Yangquan City through the combination of remote sensing interpretation and field surveys.Based on the GIS technology, rough set theory and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the establishment of the index system of geological environmental assessment in the region, the grading of geological environment, the quantifying, the determination of the weights, and the evaluation zoning of the geological environment in the study area were discussed. The geological environment of the area has been evaluated quantitatively.Mainly achieved the following understanding:(1)The degree of development of geological disasters, the degree of destruction of aquifers, the degree of destruction of landscapes, and the degree of destruction of land resources were considered as first-class indicators for geological environment evaluation.According to the main geological environment influencing factors in the coal mining area of Yangquan City,20 items such as geological disaster types and underground mined-out were selected as secondary evaluation indicators;(2)28 coal mines in the central and western regions of Yangquan City were selected as geological environmental assessment study areas, and the ArcGIS hydrological analysis function was used to divide the study area into 217 evaluation units by catchment area.;With the help of the spatial analysis unction of ArcGIS,and according to the ground deformation rate map obtained by InSAR technology, the geological environment of the study area was comprehensively analyzed, and the classification criteria of the impact of the evaluation index on the geological environment were formulated;(3)The geological environmental assessment scale in the study area was divided into four grades: good, relatively good, relatively poor, and poor. The weight of the evaluation index was determined based on the Rough set theory, and the quality environment was evaluated by the Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The evaluation of geological environment zoning in the study area was completed, and the genesis characteristics and distribution rules of geological environment in each grade were analyzed and summarized;(4)The paper took into account the coal mining rights issue and the implementation of the mine geological environment recovery and management responsibility, using the mine's mineral rights boundary division unit, according to the geological environment evaluation results, the impact of the coal mine on the geological environment is divided into lighter and relatively severe and severe, and put forward corresponding suggestions for the geological environment protection of coal mines in Yangquan City.
