Coating method used in the detection of the upper atmosphere wind field is an effective measuring way to intervene imaging spectroscopy, which is, at the same time, an important means to acquire and study wind field information using passive approach. Passive detection on wind field atmosphere uses interferometer, aiming at airglow and aurora carrying the information of wind field, to inverse atmospheric temperature, pressure, wind speed and other information with four fixed optical path difference of light intensity. The advantages include simple device, high resolution, high precision, and little affected by weather conditions. With the rapid development of China's aerospace technology, the measurement to the middle and upper atmosphere is particularly important; it will also turn to be an important method to aerospace and meteorological observation. Coating method used in the detection of the upper atmosphere wind field is an effective measuring way to intervene imaging spectroscopy. It has the advantages of no moving parts, no slit and wide detecting band, not only being able to obtain more accurate wind field information, but also making coating method widely used in calibration technology and remote sensing detection technology. The key to the detection of wind field on the basis of coating method, is to conduct the volumetric analysis to the error membrane surface, as well as give the specific conditions to improve the precision. With the continuous improvement of the membrane surface flatness, coating method to the upper atmosphere wind field exploration will be adopted by more people, and it will play a larger role in academic and application field.The paper find out the main reasons of errors caused by previous interferometer spectrometer when detecting wind field, so as to reflect the superiority of coating method to detect wind field. All kinds of detecting wind field information methods are based on the same theory, so we should just strive in the strong light to improve precision.In the upper atmosphere wind field survey on the basis of coating method, the smoothness of the film is the main factor of detection results, so the key is to study the error of various membrane surface.To limit the angle of the error membrane, and provide theoretical basis to the membrane surface processing.
