People have developed a variety of devices which including optical spectroscopy, coherent scattering radar, laser radar and release chemicals satellite device to detect wind speed and air temperature, that is an important parameter of atmospheric behavior research. The interfered imaging spectroscopy among which plays a more and more important role in the detection of atmospheric wind field, and also the great application prospect in the production and life, scientific research and military. With the development of research in the field of science and technology, so the previous detection of moving mirror mode can’t meet the needs of the stability and accuracy of system of the increasingly high demanding. Because of the instead of the moving mirror mode, the polarization array polarized array based the upper atmospheric wind field detection system, which avoid errors due to the mechanical movement of the moving mirror in the detection results completely, and is suitable for rapid changes in target detection, also ensure the accuracy in measurement by the advantage of high stability. Therefore, the polarization array polarized array based the upper atmospheric wind field detection system, which has become a new direction in the measurement of the information of atmospheric wind field.Based on the analysis of the mechanism of the reaction of light source, this paper summarized the detected spectral lines at different heights in the atmosphere, and studied and compared in depth the four different ways of the strength interference atmospheric wind field detection techniques. This paper analyzed and deduced the likely error factors which caused by the gluing of the detection unit polarization array; and the polarizer azimuth error from other factors unchanged is simulated and calculated.On the basis of the theoretical analysis, error analysis of the upper atmospheric wind field detection system based on polarization array is carrried out. Based on the ideal state of each part of the system error may exist, after the simulation process of typical computer simulation is reviewed, many error tolerance of the system are given out.Above theoretical research provides a theoretical foundation for the upper atmospheric wind field detection system based on polarization array of the future building in laboratory, experimental research, and aerospace flight test.
