With the development of society, group decision making problem is becoming more and more common, and group decision making is widely used in different fields. Decision makers may give various forms of preference information in group decision making, research of group decision making with different preference information is becoming a hot issue of decision analysis, however, consistency research of group decision making with different preference information is very rare. This paper provides some theory and methods about measurement of consistency. This paper is organized as follows:First of all, this section introduces the question of group decision making and measurement method of consistency, while research of group decision making with different preference information is described. In the meantime, this chapter raises the study issues of this paper.Second, the theoretical basis about research of group decision making with different preference information and measurement method of consistency are introduced. This chapter lays the foundation for the follow-up study.Third, this section focuses on utility-based analysis of consistency in group decision making with multiple preference information. Depending on their background of knowledge, experts are invited to give their preference information on alternatives. Six types of formats of preference information are employed: utility values, preference orderings, fuzzy preference relation matrix, AHP judgment matrix, interval numbers and linguistic evaluation. By unifying the preference information into the format of utility value and aggregating them, the group opinions can be obtained and order of alternatives would be figured out. Consistency is measured to verify the decision making process. Finally, this section focuses on analysis of consistency in group decision making with multiple preference information and proposes a consistency method based on two-tuple linguistic. Six formats of preference information are employed: preference orderings, utility values, interval numbers, linguistic term vector, trapezoidal fuzzy number and two-tuple linguistic. In this study, other types of preference information are transformed into two-tuple linguistic respectively. Two-tuple linguistic arithmetic average operator is used to aggregate them and select the best acceptable alternative. Consistency is measured by euclidean distance formula to verify the decision making process.
