The main characteristics of global climate change over centuries are global warming and the warming acceleration. The climate change has made a great impact on human activities and the tourism industry. This paper studies the impact of the climate of En'shi District on its tourism. Firstly, applying SPSS statistical software, this paper analyzes on the major error passenger per month rate and the Pearson correlation coefficients with meteorological factors for the recent years, and then come to conclusions that climatic factors (air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, precipitation) have great impact on tourism. Next, those four factors are studied on the characteristics of their changes. Finally, the paper analyzes the influence of climate on tourism. Mainly based on the analysis of the climate impact on tourism suitability, it studies the impact of climate change on tourism suitability and tourism resources (natural resources and the humanities of Tourism resources), the extreme climate effects on tourist activity and the influence of climate change on tourism traffic. Then this paper preliminary draws to the following conclusions:(1)In En'shi District, the annual temperature changes have appeaered to be trending obvious upward. Overall, however, summer temperatures indicate a downward trend, which means terrible hot weather is rare and it is suitable for people to travel during the summer. During the early 21st century the temperature mutation in En'shi is the most prominent. On the one hand, the warm weather provides a nice environment for visitors to go out. And on the other hand, that has led to a survival effect on vegetation suitable for the cold weather, thereby indirectly affecting the natural tourist landscape.(2)In Enshi, the relative humidity is decreasing. That will inevitably affect the suitability of tourism environment.(3)According to the temperature and humidity index of En'shi, that is 0 during May, October, when is the most suitable climate and the most suitable period for tourism activities. In this paper, the study on En'shi's monthly greenhouse index, wind chill index, suitability index and the corresponding traffic shows that, the optimum temperature and humidity index is between May and September, the appropriate period of wind chill index is between May and October, the optimum comfort index is between May and September, other period are not appropriate and the high tourist flow volume period is between May and September.(4)In En'shi, natural landscape is determined by the particular climatic conditions, so the climate effects on the natural landscape are different. Natural tourism resources, to a certain extent are influenced by climate factors. That indicates that the natural landscape is seasonal, appropriate for tourism only within a relatively short period of time. However, humanities tourism resources do not have this limitation, except for inappropriate extreme weather, basically open for all year round.(5)Meteorological disaster is one factor doing harm to tourism. En'shi is located in the mountainous southwestern Hubei Province and between Wuling Mountains and the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau area. Terrain, diverse climate and strongly influenced by the southwest monsoon, this district experiences a lot meteorological disasters, badly affecting tourism activities. The most significant impacts are strong winds and rainstorm.
