Based On RS And GIS Analysis Of Landscape Pattern In Western Of Chongqing

Landscape layout of a region is reasonable, direct impact on the region's economic development and ecological environment. Landscape layout of the significance of important ecological functions, environment effects and landscape benefits.As the development of population and social economy, the demands of expanding social living and space in many cities led to the continuous expansion of urban areas and landscape pattern of land use changes. Particularly, such as western of Chongqing caused by the change of landscape pattern and ecological processes in many natural phenomena. The change will directly affect the quality of human existence, the study of the regional landscape and their impact on the environment, for understanding the regional environment and global environment change is of great significance.This research results show that: (1) along with years of economic development, research area in 1988-2007 landscape's pattern changed a lot changes: increase of landscape fragmentation, each landscape elements plaques area is reduced, are uniformly distributed, landscape presents open between distribution pattern; (2) 1988 - 2007, the research area whole landscape pattern and different landscape among the components of the changes remarkably. Plaques significantly increased, the overall number of boundary density drop rapidly since 2001, fractal dimension as the time change trend is not apparent, landscape diversity index and evenness index has showed a rising trend. (3) The landscape pattern are increasingly small advantage degree, the area of the contrast between difference is on the decrease. 19 years Chongqing west area landscape diversity gradually improve forest area, construction land use increased, cultivated land change. Explaining area ecological environment has been improved, but the contradiction between human and ecological fragile are still serious, the problems are not disappear.
