In the management of modern enterprises, owing to the important role salary lias played in attracting, maintaining and bestirring staff in enterprise by human resources management, it is not only the carrier where it plays the role of defraying the traditional enterprise product cost, but also a key element in management closely related to both development of an enterprise and strategy of human resources development, moreover, salary management becomes even more the core content of the enterprise human resources management.In human resources management, human becomes more and more key factor for an organization to achieve their own strategic goal. The organizations that can attract, maintain, train and make use of men for profession will be able to have the initiative and be highly competitive in vary competition. Involved in employee's immediate or vital interests and the achievement of integral goal, salary is one of the most important parts of enterprise human resources management. Designing reasonable, competitive salary system will help an enterprise to attract, retain person with ability, bestir staff and enhance the achievement of staff and the enterprise as a whole.Adopting the method of integration of theory with practice, under the direction of all kinds of theory of salary, combined with the practice of Baotou Iron & Steel (Group) Co., LTD., the text devised a salary scheme of staff, further more, by using the method of a lot of quantitative analysis and a qualitative analysis, give support to the basic standpoint and specific measures in the scheme.The present paper main content is:First, through to enterprise survey, human resources introduction, has a comprehensive understanding to the enterprise.Next, in this section, we will make a special effort to introduce the concept and theory related to the salary system, including the concept of salary, the comparing and analysis of the correlative concept, the function and the classification of salary, the development of salary theory, the basic theory of salary and the introduction of foreign enterprise salary management mode, for the purpose of providing the theory foundation for next salary design.Third, By introducing current salary system, we apply modern theory of salary to analyses enterprise salary and find the crux of the problem so as to lay foundation for the next task.Fourth, For the design of the salary system of Baotou Iron & Steel (Group) Co., LTD , also the core of the thesis.
