Currently, research and design in our company prevailing two phenomena: one is that some company put very limited money into R&D; two is that there are many problems in projects decisions for R&D. Many enterprises pay more attention to the benefits at present but ignore the development in future. Even the percent of the investment for R&D in sales revenue is 0.71% in some large or middle company and this percent is very less than developed countries. In projects decisions, company in our country sometimes depend on experience and investment can't hit the target even bring more loss. So it is a good problem how to use the limited resources and create more values in the condition of less investment?In this article, the main contents are how to select a project that is the most suitable for DT. In some projects ,the main analysis target is MSTP.In the front of the article, we analyze the process of evolvement of the strategy and structure of DT and have found the seat of DT in the market. We do these work because the strategy for R&D should obey the strategy for the company.The next is the main part of the article. We analyzed the products and MSTP is the focus. Firstly, we wonder what kind of product can meet the needs of the market by analyzing opportunities. Secondly, we use some theories for example portfolio matrix, product life cycle. And these theories can help us to analyze the product lines of DT including technology, market performance, etc.. We can find which kind of product is the most suitable for the market. Thirdly, we evaluate the technology and finance of these project based on data by NPV,ROI and so on. At last, we try to use Analytia1 Hierarchy Process(AHP) and evaluate all the factor what we have analyzed in the front parts.The last part is the conclusion. It is based on scientific analysis and can reduce the risk of decision. The point of view from many factors can avoid the possibility to make a wrong project decision by single factor.
