The Business Process Reengineering Of Our Country’s Telecommunication Enterprise In The Era Of 3G

on April 1, 2008 ,China Mobile Communication Corporate first adopted the third generation mobile communication (3G)“Chinese standard”TD-SCDMA socialized service test and commercial uses in eight cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Qinhuangdao, in section 157, indicate the application of commercial use of standard TD, the era of 3G will soon arrive.The arrival of 3G has brought the unprecedented challenge for China’s telecommunications industry. Our country’s Telecommunication Enterprises are under heavy pressure, not only the competition threat comes from outside, but also the internal reasons, makes our country’s Telecommunication Enterprises in the disadvantage’s place. In order to strengthen enterprise’s competitive power, we need improve the enterprise’s interior operation, and the Business Process Reengineering(BPR) is a method to solve the problem.After analyzing the situation of our Hunan Telecommunication Enterprise, this thesis studies the implementation of BPR and the key factor—BPR appraisal。on the basis of investigate the BPR theory deeply, we analysis the principle of BPR, studies the content of BPR in seven aspects, including the idea reengineering, the strategic reengineering, the brand reengineering, the key process reengineering, the operation channel reengineering, the IT system reengineering, and the key factor in the implementation of BPR. Then this thesis studies the BPR appraisal plan from the view of value and strategic. we design an appraisal plan after absorbed the basic philosophy of Economic Value Added(EVA) and Balanced score card(BSC).Finally, this thesis get to the conclusion that the implementation that of BPR is the consolidation of structure, business process and performance evaluation, and get the support of information system. This thesis carried out it in the real world.Through the study of this thesis, we could find that the implementation of BPR in the Telecommunication Enterprises is necessary and possible. Our Hunan Telecommunication Enterprises has tried to do it and we believe that Hunan Telecommunication Enterprises could face the threat of 3G, and got the competitive advantage place.
