Henan Chinese Enterprises Enhance The Competitiveness Of Research

The 21^st century has stepped into an age of biological science, which indicates that industry of traditional Chinese medicine features great potential of business and technology. Meanwhile, traditional Chinese medicine is the typical representation of Chinese culture and unique advantage. Chinese medicine has developed into a comprehensive system of agriculture, industry, commerce and knowledge industry. But Chinese businesses involved, compared with foreign enterprises, have many disadvantages such as low competitiveness, small sale and low economic returns. Traditional Chinese medical enterprises have taken on a good developmental tendency although they are restricted by many factors mentioned above. In addition, Henan province is rich in medical herbs and well known for its studies on Chinese medical theories. Many hi-tech pharmaceutical businesses have taken into shape in Henan province recently such as Wanxi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, Lingrui Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, and Joysun Company Ltd, etc. Studies on the competence of pharmaceutical enterprises in Henan province are of great significance in rebuilding the economic structure, promoting economic development and speeding its leading role in regenerating the development of the central China. Based on the related competence theories, and combined with the status of economic development of the province's related enterprises, an index system and evaluation methods for the competence of such enterprises were established. Through the empirical analysis of competence of key enterprise and the general study of the provinces overall competence, the competitive advantages and disadvantages were specified. In the study, Beijing Tongrentang and Lingrui were chosen as subjects to indicate the advantages and disadvantages of Henan province. And then, Wanxi pharmaceutical company Ltd was analyzed in its competitiveness such as products, structure, research and management. Hence, counter-measures were put forward as to the competence improvement of traditional Chinese medicine enterprises in Henan province.
