With the further development of the economic globalization and international trade, the world production system has changed in very significant ways such as disintegration and reorganization. The impact on local industries by the shift of world production system cannot be comprehended thoroughly in an isolated and static perspective. The analyzing method of the Global Commodity Chain, which emphasizes the internal relationship between the commodity manufacture and distribution, is a systematic analyzing framework that helps to understand the change of industrial relationship from the macroscopy to microscopy.The paper introduces the global commodity chain theory and studies the manufacturing industries of Sichuan province in the GCC analyzing framework to identify the competitive advantages and disadvantages of several representative industries. In consequence,we could find the most suitable cut-in point according to their own condition of these industries and the governance structures of their commodity chains. At last, the paper discusses the problems of how these industries of Sichuan to embedding and integrating into the GCC, and puts forwards suggestions on embedding and integrating approaches, so as to offers the theoretical and practical meanings in the macroscopic and microscopic view regarding how the local industry to tackle with the global industry transfer and competition.The main contents and opinions are as follows:Chapter one reviews the relevant literature of the global commodity chains accomplished by GCC researchers at domestic and overseas in terms of the drive system, governance structure and local industrial clusters.
