The past several years of 21st century have witnessed the fiercecompetition in the business circle, however, where is an enterprise's corecompetence now? According to researches and findings, scholars believe thatnowadays enterprises' core competence focuses on its way to combine its ownrecourses with those around it, other than just making good use of its ownlimited wealth. Therefore, most companies gave up the original businessmode of vertical integration, transferring to cooperate with others in and outof the line. Then these stakeholders make into a network of information andobjects with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and the end users. This isso called "Supply Chain". So as we can see today, the competition amongcompanies has been changed to the competition among the supply chains.Those companies in a supply chain are in the terms of cooperation with eachother, from which they gain the benefits of less cost, high productivity andsaved recourses that cannot be obtained when it is single. Well, who to chooseand how to choose to cooperate plays an important role in the process ofachieving excellence, also it becomes a key attention by both business circleand academic circle. According to these theories and thoughts, this paper attempts to analyzehow to choose and evaluate the partners in the supply chain in theenvironment of competition, cooperation and quick response based ondifferent types of partners the core company wants to establish, as well as thehidden problems in the period of cooperation.
