Eastern And Western Business Ethics Research

Ethical issues of business management, corporate social responsibility and business' stakeholders have greatly become subjects that modern business management cannot ignore any more. In view of the fact that China's business ethics management practice still is on the initial stage, both the eastern businesses and the western ones have plenty of problems in the business ethics management needed to discuss.From the viewpoint of the business social responsibility theory and stakeholder theory, based on the summary of domestic and foreign research and study concerned with the business ethics management and the moral management, the article clearly defines the business ethics and ethics management, relates the content and theinfluence factor and so on; establishes the main research direction and focus-as anorganization taking multiple responsibilities and pursuing multi-goals, business which has different traits and characteristics would carry out ethics management and perform moral management in great non-uniformity. Since then the article comes up six points of related research hypothesis. Through the fixed-point stochastic questionnaire survey way, the author successively carried on comprehensively and careful comparative analysis on 180 western samples and 107 eastern samples on ethics management practice and behavior performance from five dimensions. On the basis of descriptive statistical analysis such as frequency distribution and cross-tabulation analysis, some empirical conclusion are made, and then the article performed the principal components analysis and the factor analysis among the organizational basic characteristic factor, the cultural atmosphere and the values essential factor, the internal management and operation factor, the achievements and performance factor and the business ethics management performance factor.With the KMO test and the Bartlette test on primary data of samples, finally 27 critical factors are attained, and then relationships experienced the Spearman relevance analysis. After the related analysis and sensitivity test, hypo 2, hypo 3, hypo 4, hypo 5 and hypo 6 got verified to stand basically. So we can say that "good" business's organization culture has the remarkable positive influence on ethics management and moral management; perfect internal management mechanism has the positive influence to the business ethics management practice; the business organizes cultural and business's internal management system, and the business performance have the remarkable correlation dependence; great difference in ethics management exists eastern businesses and western businesses.Correspondence between the positive analysis result and descriptive statistical analysis on the western and eastern samples, shows the analysis conclusion has the reasonable explanation strengthThe article's research direction and conclusion present the reference values for eastern businesses and western business in particular to disclose problems, seek solutions and improve performance as for business management and moral practice...
