The writer of this paper is working for Xiamen Hongfa Electroacoustic Ltd., thebiggest domestic relay supplier, as a sales manager who had worked for the company as aproduct manager from 1997 to 2003. So the writer has some conveniences to get theindustry data and trends. The subject offers an opportunity to study and think the industrydevelopment strategy more objectively and clearly.This paper wants to analyze the situation of Chinese Relay Industry Developmenttrends depending on the objective data of Global and Chinese Relay Industries. After that,it gives several suggests to the Industry.As a very important auto-motive controlling electronic component, Relay was usedin a wide range of many industries, such as remote controlling, distant measuring,communications, auto-motive controlling, and electromechanical equipment etc. Becauseof its significant use, it can affect the competence in those natives. Also, the relay can boostthe high-tech industries development and upgrade the traditional industries in high speed.So, it is very useful to study the relay industry development in our country.In the first chapter, the writer analyzes the global environment in which ChineseRelay Industry live. The global relay market is coming over from the decline shadow in2000 to 2002 and increasing in a high speed. The paper also traces the different products,different regions, and different using fields to the reasons of the global increase. And thosereasons will affect the domestic industry very much.In the following part, the article studies the economic situation of Chinese relayindustry and points out that the industries are becoming more and more centralized. Therewere four mark-able characters and several motivations for the increasing industry.In the third part, the communicating relay industry, the biggest market of theindustry, comes to our faces because it has the surprising number of consuming the relays.The auto motive industry also has a very huge market. In China, the booming homeelectronic market promotes the relational relay industries. Then the paper analyzes thetrend of the industry in the fourth chapter.At the end of this paper, it gives several advices to Chinese relay industry, such asclarifying competition strategy, cooperating with others to get some advantages, changingthe exporting structure to join into the global sourcing team forwardly, conforming theinnovation and the labor to win some advantages, etc.
