Western China Logistics Center Location

In order to improve the efficiency of the logistics center and the performance of the Western Region logistics system, the locating of logistics center becomes very important in the designing and managing logistics system.The paper first introduce the logistics situation of the Western Region, and definite the conception, function and classic of the logistics centers to give a whole realization of their characters and meaning to readers, on the base of that, it discusses the principle, influencing factors, flow and methods of logistics center locating. At last ,it puts forwards the steps, methods and examples for logistics centers locating.The selecting of the Western Region logistics center is the main contact in this paper. There are many methods for it, we can sort them into two kinds: quantity ones and quantum ones. In the paper, it uses AHP and the fuzzy synthetic evaluation for qualitative indexes; heuristic algorithm or GA algorithm for quantitative ones. We noticed that quality ones have drawbacks in veracity while quantity ones have defects in completion. So the paper unites the two kinds of indexes by using the indexes' satisfaction algorithm, and thus provides the support for the decision-making of logistics center locating.
