Study On Agricultural Economy In Hetian River Basin In Qing Dynasty

The agricultural economy of Hetian River basin had been rapid development during the reign of Qing Dynasty. With the expansion of cultivated land and the improvement of production technology, the unit production of grain crops had increased rapidly and the agricultural economy had presented a prosperous development trend,which had laid the foundation for the economic and social development of the region.The further research of agricultural economic in favor of development of Hetian River basin in Qing Dynasty can promote the economic and social development of Hetian River basin development, and improve the capacity of regional sustainable development and the living standards of Uyghur people who have clustered in this area, and promote national unity and long-term stability.Based on the theory and method of history, ethnology and other disciplines, through the systematic review of the literature of agricultural economic development in Hetian River basin and the comprehensive investigation of various factors which affected the development of agricultural economy in this period, this paper outlined the macroscopic picture and microscopic performance of agricultural economy development of Hetian River basin in the Qing Dynasty and summarized that the development of agricultural economy made contributions to the political, economic and social of Hetian River basin.It will be help to enrich the content of economics research in minority areas and expand the field of vision in the research of national economics in theory.It will be of positive significance to understanding the traditional economy of Uygur,and accelerate the economic development of this region,and eliminate poverty,and finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.This paper was divided into five parts. In the introduction part,first of all,it discussed the background and significance of this topic and made a review of the relevant domestic and foreign literature,and then discussed the characteristics,innovation and research ideas and methods of the paper.The first chapter made a detailed description about the background on the development of agricultural economy of Hetian River basin in Qing Dynasty from the aspects of nature,politics,economy and culture,and it also a detailed narration about the special environment of the farmland which was reclaimed at that time. The second chapter summarized the changes in Hetian River basin about the tools and farming methods of agricultural production, water conservancy and crop varieties, and then analysed the reasons for these changes. In the third chapter, through cross checking and combing the history literature, unearthed documents, travel documents and archaeological finds, the production of agricultural production in Hetian River basin were studied, and then the local agricultural trade situation at that time was analyzed.The fourth chapter made a detailed narration that the development of agricultural economy of Hetian River basin made a contribution to Qing Dynasty from three aspects of economic, political and social.
