With economic globalization in the 21st century, China has entered WTO.Chinese enterprises have great opportunities for development, but also will face more and more challenges. At present, there is very large gap between Chinese enterprise and world advanced enterprise in the management. We also need to learn these outstanding companies, especially the advanced management and production methods. Lean production is the best way to solve the problem of survival and development of enterprises, and inevitable choice to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. TW Company is a state-owned enterprise. The company not only specializes in research, development, design of automotive transmission and related technology, but also manufactures, sells Photovoltaic cells and modules. In TW Company, they use lean production driving every aspect of their culture and performance through a never-ending cycle of change and improvement.This paper analyzes the origin and historical background of lean production management, the status of research and application of lean production in domestic and abroad are introduced. The paper describes the basic theory, the core ideas and principle of lean production. On the basis of this theory, deeply research schematic design and the application of lean production management of TW Company and its implementation effect, analyze the existing problems and put forward the improvement measure. In the recent years, Lean production methods have been introduced by TW Company because of the company in the face of the fierce market competition environment and product profits have been compressed. Through using lean tools to improve the shop floor management and establish lean production culture, the company has been greatly improved in the operation cost and management efficiency. The effect is significant since the lean transformation of the company.Lean production is a long-term process with continuous improvement. TW Company has achieved initial success and achieved the desired goals through the implementation of lean production. Conclusion in this paper:Lean Manufacturing is a scientific and advanced management method. Through the implementation of lean production, downstream photovoltaic business eliminate waste,improve quality, increase production flexibility, and achieve the purpose of on-time delivery. Strengthen the enterprise culture, put lean thinking into enterprise culture, create a good atmosphere which everyone apply and speak lean production for common mind.That can improve their core competitiveness and achieve sound and rapid development of enterprises. It also pointed out:Only getting the full support from top management, setting up a full-time organization to develop their own lean expert, can the company make the proper introduction of lean production; only through full participation, implementing lean production from the point to surface, can lean production be developed into enterprise culture, can the company be a real lean enterprise.
