Performance management is critical to improving an organization’s performance, and achieving its strategic goal. Based on Enterprise’s Development Theory of Stage and Equity Theory, this paper discussed some general principles that SY, a private enterprise, should follow during managing its performance. By analyzing SY’s current situation of Human Resource and performance management, this paper designed a best-fit performance management system for SY, in which the author of this paper applied the idea of Key Performance Indicator Method and Objective Management on evaluating the performance of departments, as well as individuals, to improve SY’s performance management, and thus its performance. More discussion of applying this methodology in performance management was followed. |
