Human resource is the important strategic resource of enterprise. It is the most essential productive factor in a company; meanwhile it is the foundation of creating wealth for enterprises. In order to follow the continually in-depth tendency of economic globalization and occupy the dominant position in market competition,a insurance company has already realized human resource is the main factor to achieve this goal. But how to make good use of advantages of human resource and rouse the enthusiasm of employees under the guidance of scientific concepts and technical methods of modern human resource management? It is a tough problem that troubles the company managers. Based on the relevant theories of human resource management, this article analyzes insurance company’s current situation of employee motivation and the data statistics of employee’s job satisfaction questionnaire survey. It summarizes the problems and its reasons of the current incentive mechanism. Furthermore this article proposes some suggestions to improve employee motivation system in a insurance company, hoping to be a significant reference to the insurance industry.
