Cryptography is the foundation of information security and randomness sequence generation plays an important role both in cryptography and information security. Beyond information security, the randomness detection has widely found applications in communication protocols of communication, environment simulation, the analysis of natural characteristic, etc. Many researches have been made in models & methods of the quantitative and the qualitative analysis of the randomness. However, only a small amount of researches using visual interpretation or map technologies to explore randomness. This dissertation focuses on the topic of designing a system to visualize randomness.The specific content of this dissertation is as follows:Constructing the randomness detection system based on randomness detection technology and defining the hierarchical division model aims at improving the efficiency and the precision of the detection. The randomness detection system provides the approaches for the research in the randomness of randomness sequence. Also, it introduces the basic theory and the development of randomness detection technology briefly.Constructing the classification model of Elementary Cellular Automata with the concept of living proportion and sum rule element. Elementary classification on the kinetics behavior of Elementary Cellular Automata is accomplished on the basis on a number of simulation experiments. From the classification, it shows some special characteristics that the rules of some Elementary Cellular Automata are special relating to the different initial conditions. This dissertation focuses on the influence of Elementary Cellular Automata comes from the varying characteristics, and the introduction of Elementary Cellular Automata is made too.Constructing the visual presentation system after comparing several visual presentation methods which are complementary to each other, and the system provides measurements to the visual presentation and the results analysis of randomness. This dissertation makes elementary analysis and classification on the randomness of randomness detection and the tasks made above could form a new approach on the classification of Elementary Cellular Automata.
