The Campus Network Upgrade Project Implementation And Security

The human society has already entered the age of information,and whether a school can make full use of the information resource of Internet has become an important indicator to judge the strength and level of it. The construction of the campus network can help the teachers and students to gain the Internet information resource better. With the rapid development of network technology and the popularization of the network products,how to establish their own campus network according to their physical demand and then make full use of the campus network has been an important issue to the teaching staff of the schools.This dissertation takes the updating and reforming engineering practice of the campus network of the Fuqing Branch Of FuJian Normal University as an example,discusses the key technology of the campus network, analyzes the original campus network of the Fuqing Branch Of FuJian Normal University. Then, according to the actual demand and the basic principles of the construction of campus network,the overall plan of the campus network of Fuqing Branch of Fujian Normal University has been put forward,and the writer give some advice about how to carry out the overall framework step by step. Then it is discussed about the network technology selection(including Backbone network design and distribution layer access layer design) of the updating and reforming of the campus network,the division of the internal network segment, the design of virtual network vlan ,the design of the Firewall,the design of export circuit and Equipment Selection. Basic on the above design, it will upgrade the backbone network ,accelerate the speed of Internet connectivity, enhance the safety factor of campus network,and expand the coverage of the campus network, at last it will provide a basic platform for the school to become a digital campus.
