The Campus Network System Design And Safety Studies

The construction of campus network is a synthetic project being full of high science and technology, it involves lots of problems about technique and administration. It is a challenged work to design a campus network working well and being safety. With the rapid development of technique of computer and network communication, the new thought and methods are proposed to solve the problems which the campus networks are facing now.By the analysis of the newest technique characteristic of network, the comparative of several typical campus network models and the study of several important problems on network technique, layer-three switch technique, the VLAN dividing, the exploiting application system based on WEB and about some key equipment. The layer 3 switching network system model fitting for campus network based on superposition VLAN is proposed.In this article, as a stress question, the safety of campus network is discussed. The factors which threaten the security of campus network are point out. By the analysis of the security questions existing in the campus network, a multi-layer security model is given, applying the system software and network facilities such as firewall, router, switch and server etc.Finally, a example of campus network is given.
