Since the German developed the world's first high-speed train, the maglev train was successively put into commercial operation in Japan, UK, and China etc…Compared with general train, maglev train has such advantages as faster speed, lower cost of the consumption and maintenance, and more safety. In order to ensure the maglev train's speed and effective operation, a set of reliable and effective signal communication system is of vital importance to make full play of these advantages. As the core component of the communication system, the vehicle mounted antenna and the ground base station antenna play an extremely important role.In the field of high-speed locomotive antenna, Germany has strong superiority while Japan has entered the period of rapid development. However, it is nearly blank in China. So this millimeter wave antenna needs to be researched to fill this blank as soon as possible.At present, there are many kinds of commercial electromagnetic computing software such as HFSS, FKEO and CST which adopted different computing methods and brought great convenience to the engineering design of antennas. In this thesis, the author used two kinds of them, HFSS and FEKO, to analyze and design the millimeter wave antenna, and proposed the method of combining HFSS with FEKO to design antenna.Many kinds of horn feed were analyzed and compared in this thesis, and the conical horn was chosen as the feed of antenna. Then many kinds of lens were analyzed and compared, and the rotational symmetric parabolic lens was chosen to narrow the beam. This paper also presents the method of analyzing and designing multiple antenna reflector board. The shaped stripes reflector was chosen to broaden the beam and achieve circular polarization. The author also put forward two kinds of schemes to achieve millimeter wave antenna and finally designed the antenna that satisfies system indicators.
