Dcom-based School Management System

As the development of science and technology, there always are new research fruit that appears in computer science domain. Computer has taken more and more effect in replacing and strengthening human's work., So that people become more reliable to computer not only in industry but also in daily life .Especially at school, there are too many data about students to deal with, if these works are handled by human, it's maybe inaccurate or even unsafe, so it's necessary to develop a student's information management system for the sake of convenience and safety.After a careful consideration for the complex and security factors of students managing work, I decide to construct the system upon three layers so as to fit into LAN, this will make good use of resource. I chose Delphi as the developing tool and construct the database with MSSQLServer2000. This system has the following three parts: the first is creating application server, the second is creating the application client, which can manage the student's information and student's course mark.. The last part is creating the client which can let students choose courses online. I design the systematic name is called the student information management system. Mainly is carries on the effective management for the school to the student school register situation, manages the related material through the computer, causes the management conveniently, succinct, moreover is opposite in artificially is not easy to make a mistake. This system design is uses, mainly uses in Delphi these two DCOMConnection and ClientDataset which three constructions realize realizes this system structure. Causes the server and the client side may the mutual correspondence, the server be possible smooth to serve for the client side. But we use the backstage development kit is SQL Server2000.The system goal for with the school daily work, the management unifies, satisfies the routine work the need and achieved in operating process direct-viewing, simple, safe, facilitates and so on the request. Realization institute student daily management computerizing, abandons the original manual low efficiency the working mode active status, to the student, the curriculum arranges, the result record and so on the management which computerizes, and provides the information inquiry function. Each semester each person studies the curriculum not to be all same, teaches the curriculum teacher or same or different, all these data all needs to register, the data many moreover moves frequently, designs this system to cause the student supervisory work simply, understands, is easy to manage and the inquiry.
