A Student Pilot Training Management Information System Development

So the CAFUC decides to develop the information system of Flying Cadet Training and Managing according to the characteristics of the order-form contract training of flying cadets and based in the existing the management system of recruitment, school register, flying training and financial charge. The System not only focuses on the flying training contract information and process management, but also gives attention to the management of flying cadets'license, rewards and punishment, conduct assess. The system builds the uniform training information database of the flying cadets based on the campus network. The school Admission Registry Division, Students'Affairs Division, Flying Criterion Division, Financial Division and Academic Affairs Division operates the database according to the respective functions and authorization. Thus, each Division shares the uniform data of the database technically, and there are no management differences and leaks, and the database provides the betimes and reliable statistical data for the school leaders and administrative divisions.For the particularities of flying cadets training and managing, on the basis of studying the flying cadets training flow and management methods of CAFUC, the paper proposes the flying cadets training and managing information system based on the Browser/Server(B/S) mode and accomplishes it. The paper firstly introduces the specificities of flying cadets training and managing, the source of the issue, the system development background and purpose, the system feasibility analysis and the significance of studying the issue, and after introducing the MIS and its correlative development technologies, the paper carries out the demand analysis and design of the whole Flying Cadet Training and Managing information system, and finally accomplishes the system. The system takes the architecture of browser/server mode, and uses the SQL Server 2000 as the backstage database and the DreamWeaver as the onstage development kit.The system has the characteristics of friendly user interface, simple operation and easy use, safe data and high reliability. Now, the system has in the commissioning phase and is in good running state. The feedbacks from the users are favorable and the system achieves the expected goal. The system can significantly improve the management level of the CAFUC flying cadets and can greatly raise the management competitiveness abilities and efficiencies, and can effectively solute the weak links of flying cadets training and managing, and has the enormous promotion value.
