Td-lte Nas Protocol Conformance Test Specification With Ttcn Test Set Development

TD-LTE UE Protocol conformance test instrument guarantees the performance and the quality of TD-LTE UE, greatly promoting the development of the whole industry. Test cases are the basis for the development of test instrumentation, so developing TD-LTE UE conformance test cases is prerequisite to develop related test instrument. 3GPP releases TD-LTE UE Protocol conformance test cases. However, since it is described in natural language and can not be recognized and processed by a computer, a certain programming language is necessary to describe these test cases.Through in-depth research in TD-LTE Protocol conformance test cases which are described in 3GPP TS36.523, this paper presents a TTCN-based approach to develop TD-LTE Protocol conformance test cases and realizes TD-LTE Protocol test cases through the help of the software Telelogic TTCN Suite. Independent of the protocol, test method and test equipment.Using TTCN to realize TD-LTE NAS which is related to Protocol can help save theR&D costs of instrumentation manufacturers and guarantee the conformance of test instruments which are produced by different companies.During the research of TTCN test case,I had done deep study in the NAS MM common procedure, meanwhile, I also summarize testing specification and design new test case and submit to the organization, now, it has been passed by 3GPP standard organization.The development fills up another blank in the field of TD-LTE and furthers the progress of the whole TD-LTE industry.
