Digital Library Chinese Automatic Question Answering System-oriented Design And Implementation

The fast development of internet provides people with abundant of information. With the use of search engine, people can search for any information they want. However, there are some weak points of search and thus it is not able to serve the need of fast, convenient and accurate information-acquisition. Automatic asking-answering system just meets the need mentioned. With the natural language dealing technology, the system can accurately and briefly answer questions of natural language.The study of automatic asking-answering system has called great attention from domestic and international science and research institutions, which have already developed English automatic asking-answering system. However, mature Chinese version of the system has not yet been developed and few institutions have take part in this kind of study. The author tried to probe into this study, focused on the system face up to digital library and aimed to provide a new mode of using digital resources. Based on the depiction of building digital library and the original data, the author made use of natural language analysis technique, analyzed customers'questions, got the key point of the questions, searched original and library data and finally provided the answers. The customers only need to input the question to get the answer. The system can also provide administration and index application of the questions; therefore the customer can get the answers to the common questions quickly and accurately.
