Research Of Simple Sentence Similarity In Uyghur Language Teaching Materials Used In Primary School

Calculating the Similarity of sentence in the Uyghur language information processing is a relatively significant task in the perspective of its foundation, it has become an important research task in the realm of natural language processing. For instance: machine translation system on the basis of example, automatic tabloid system, information retrieval system and question answering system. Until now, Uyghur language similarity has not formed certain scope.In the process of studying Uyghur language similarity, this article is mainly aimed to the simple sentences in the elementary school`s literature and language teaching material, according to the characteristics of sentence formation of words and phrases, orderly proceed with similarity calculation study of words and sentences, and put the analysis of sentence similarity calculation in the top priority. On this basis, this article has presented multiple similarity calculation methods like N-gram sentence similarity calculation, words similarity calculation, sentence similarity calculation on the basis of analysis of sentence structure and revised sentence similarity calculation. And has proved the validity of these methods by experimental analysis.This article is mainly involved with following works:1) Study on the similarity of Uyghur language words and it calculation methods. Similarity calculation of words is the basis of sentence similarity calculation, therefore, this article has proceeded a detailed study on the words similarity calculation. In order to cushion the calculation of following sentence`s similarity, This article has also clarified the method of similarity calculation of the current word and made certain revision.2) Having above mentioned prerequisites in mind, this article has studied sentence similarity calculation and made revision. In order to let the final sentence have more precise result, this article has also presented three methods of sentence similarity calculation respectively on the N-gram basis, sentence structure basis and revised sentence basis.3) Similarity calculation system of simple sentence in the elementary school`s literature teaching materials is designed and implemented. The feasibility and validity of sentence similarity calculation methods that are presented in this article are verified by applying this system.
