Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) also are named as organic electrolu minescence devices(OELDs), Due to having many meries,such as fast response, wide view-angle, self-emission, and etc, OLEDs are considered as the developing direction of the new generation of display device by the professionals, and become one of the research hotspots in the field of panel display technology.However, comparing with the second generation display device, which is represented by LCD, OLED has not been mature enough to occupy the favorable status in the aspects of process, competitiveness and industrial environment. Especially, the level of production technology is uneven, and the evaluation standard index system of quality has not been complete. Currently, the identification to the defects, such as freckles, mostly depends on manual work; the efficiency and accuracy are lower, so these defects bring some obstacles to the industrialization of OLED. This dissertation will do practice and exploration systematically in the computer intelligent detection to the fabrications and defects of OLED. The main work includes three aspects:1. The fabrication of OLED sample2. The build of defects detection system3. The software design of defects detection systemThe emphasis is to implement the automatic defects detection of OLED by VC programming, and to improve the industrialization of this technology.This dissertation is composed of five chapters totally. Chapter one will discuss the research background, the performance advantages and application of OLED, the research meaning and main work; chapter two will introduce the fabrication system of OLED, and analyze the problems in the process of fabrication; chapter three will focus on the hardware structure of defects detection system; chapter four will emphasize the software design and implementation of defects detection system; chapter five is conclusion and prospect of the work.
