With the development of manufacturing technology,the degree of automation has been improved,and the production of product categories have a great expansion,but the traditional means of defect detection has been far from meeting the requirements,So the requirements of the detection technology is getting higher and higher,to adapt to the progress of science and technology,especially in the precision,measurement range,reliability and so on.This paper is derived from the actual engineering project of a large manufacturing plant in Chengdu.Due to equipment production errors or personnel operations and other issues,resulting in rivet size and specifications are not the same,and the extent of the rivets and the size of the degree of error directly affect the quality of riveting.The main work of this paper is to design a set of automatic testing equipment according to the urgent needs of the plant,and cooperate with the machine vision system for image processing and testing work,According to the plant's individual needs and accuracy requirements,to classify the workpiece according to the size and defect.Workers work more easily,and it can improve the detection efficiency,and improve the level of automation.First of all,this paper introduces the design of the whole system and the working principle of the equipment.Then,the whole equipment is described in detail from the three parts of mechanical system design,hardware system design and control software design.The specific contents and results are as follows:1.In terms of mechanical design,Design the 3D mechanical strucure of the device with CREO software,including the feeding mechanism,the testing mechanism,and the cutting mechanism,and commissioned factory to manufacture.After several modifications and tests,the device is running smoothly;2.In terms of hardware design,choose the right chip according to the requirement,and design the hardware circuit with Alitium-Designer software,including power supply module,microcontroller module,IRF3205 driver circuit module,temperature closed-loop control circuit.Produced a circuit board and welding debugging;3.In terms of control software,write a closed loop control program on the KEIL platform with C language,including the main program,stepper motor driver,communication program,timer interrupt program and other functional subroutine.This paper designs and implements an automatic screening device for workpiece size and defect detection,which provides a detection platform for machine vision system.Through the joint debugging with the machine vision system,the screening device can fully meet the machine vision system on the image acquisition requirements,and complete the function of screening classification,the detecting speed can reach 50 per minute,greatly improve the detection effciency,and it has the practical application value.
