Gyrotron is a new electrovacuum apparatus arising in last seventies, it is one of the most promising vacuum apparatus which can generate very high average and peak power.It can be used in millimeter wave section and generates hundreds of power which can never be produced by other traditional vacuum tube. Microwave attenuation material is one kind of Microwave material used in large power vacuum apparatus that can absorb microwave radiation and can meet the need of special request. Microwave electrovacuum apparatus can hardly achieve the goal especially large power vacuum apparatus. It plays a very important part in large powerful electrovacuum apparatus which regularly end its life span ahead of schedule because the quality of attenuation material is poor.Abundant numerical solution and analysis about the mutative waveguide averagely loaded with thin attenuation material is researched in this paper, the main works are listed as the following:1. A good deal of theoretical work is finished using field matching theory for the mutative waveguide which works in the frequency of 34GHz and plural linear equations with coefficients are got by the orthometric properties of the mode function. Numerical solution and analysis are finished by the software of MATLAB.2. Abundant of theoretical analysis and formula deduction is finished and equations are got when the mode H 01 works in three cases: when the waveguide is mutative or when the waveguide is mutative and loaded with thin attenuation material in single side and when the waveguide is mutative and loaded with thin attenuation material in both sides.3. Numerical solution and analysis is finished by the software of MATLAB and analysis for effect that the attenuation material produces.Analysis for the dominating modes is used to get relations between parameters of the material and attenuation constant under two circumstances: ignoring loss of polarization and considering loss of polarization.
